Synopsis
20 years ago, 9 children disappeared from a rural Ontario school. Only their severed tongues were left behind.
Flash forward. A group of criminology students are visiting the now-abandoned school, researching the case. As they unearth the facts of the story, the events of the past slowly start reoccurring as, one by one, the students start to disappear. Isolated in the school, with no hope of rescue in sight, they fight to stay alive as the hunters become the hunted.
THE CELLAR DOOR is a harrowing horror film, right up the dark alley of those who enjoyed SAW, Scream, Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween and The Hills Have Eyes.
